I once saw Paramore live, they weren't bad. That said their newer album... no thanks.

I like to think of myself as quite the Paramore fan, saw them live twice and I’ve liked them since their first single. That being said her voice isn’t the best live and yea, their new stuff isn’t their best. Still though, they probably have 2 dozen songs that I thoroughly enjoy.

If you like Paramore, try out Tonight Alive and Icon For Hire.

I saw Tonight Alive live (they were an opener for The Used and Taking Back Sunday, we had no idea they’d be there or who they even were).

Tonight Alive made my wife and I look at each other and go “holy shit they sound so much better than Paramore” Which apparently is the standard for female-lead singer rock bands these days haha. My wife is a huge Paramore fan, we’ve seen them at least twice. One time close enough to read the set list that was on the stage.

Tonight Alive is now my most listened to pandora station.

Haha I’ve seen both live! Honestly Tonight Alive and PVRIS are tied for my favorite band right now. Which is funny because I “accidentally” saw Pvris at the last Tonight Alive concert I went to. Funny how that works out.

I’d check out pvris if you get a chance though.

But yea, any female-lead singer rock band youtube video comments are “She sounds just like/worse than Hayley.”

Their newer stuff is different compared to their old music. I wouldn’t say it’s bad but it’s not the same.
I will say their newer album is the only one I have on vinyl though lol
